This is the FASTEST & EASIEST way to make a scrunchie, start to finish! PLUS this eliminates the hard part of the elastic (but still uses elastic) & makes it neat and tidy all in one step AND elastic is really secure, & won't come undone, even through tons of uses and washes!
Supplies needed:
1. 2.5”W x 42”L strip of fabric ( I use jelly roll strips)
2. 1/2”W x 7.75”L strip of elastic (for thinner hair, use 1/2”W x 7.25”L elastic)
3. 1 large safety pin
4. Sewing supplies (machine, thread, scissors, etc)
Fabric I used was from a jelly roll called Little Dolly (isn’t that just fitting!? 😊 ), by Elea Lutz, printed by PEnny Rose Fabrics.
Sewing machine is a Vintage SewMor, from about 1957, and has only straight stitch and reverse. (My favorite machine, other than my Morse).
Music is from the YouTube Library of free stuff, (I’ll come back and put in the artist names )
