Catching Redfish on Topwaters

The wife and I took a fishing trip close to the causeway bridge around Sabine Pass, TX. I can't give the exact location because a friend told me about this area but I'll put it to you guys like this. I can launch my boat at the causeway, fish this area and have enough gas to get back to the ramp. I only have a 6 gallon gas tank so that should have it narrowed down.

We caught several redfish and crabs this trip. We could have stayed on the Reds for another hour or so but we wanted some fresh crabs for dinner. We ended up with 14 crabs between 5" and 6" We let a pile go that were right on the 5" line. FYI Texas game wardens don't play when it comes to short fish and crabs. Its best not to take that chance.
