An experiment that I decided to film the process of, taken over the course of about 3 months or so. All you need is a drill and some patience!
The end result sounds surprisingly good, it retains the characteristics of the original cymbal but at a lower volume. I would say that it sounds more musical than a real Zildjian L80 :)
