Hoosier Pass in Breckenridge in late fall

Ride along as we drive from Breckenridge Colorado to Alma and Fairplay. There's fresh snow on the peaks around us including a few famous 14ers such as Quandary Peak and Mount Lincoln. The clouds above the mountains look like huge flying saucers! The overcast conditions made the green of the pine trees more dynamic. Breckenridge is a really cool ski resort town. On this drive we head south out of Breckenridge on Colorado highway 9 over Hoosier Pass and back down into Alma, the highest town in America and then down into the town of Fairplay. Fairplay Colorado is actually the location of the cartoon South Park. Stay tuned to the end of the video to see why.
Breckenridge is an easy daytrip from Denver, Colorado Springs and the rest of the front range. Its definitely worth making a loop on I-70, through the Eisenhower Tunnel, past Keystone to get to Breckenridge. From there, follow this route to Canon City. You'll pass behind Pikes Peak and you can loop back up to I-25.
This is an easy, drivable daytrip in any vehicle with spectacular views!
