This is probably the best improvement to the way the car drives- installing a big front sway bar. Predictably however, the frame mounting is not at all strong enough so it didn’t take long to rip the plate that was welded to sheet metal right off!
You get to follow along as I design and install new brackets that attach to the front bumper mounts, which are welded through the frame.
It’s been several years since I took this video in January 2022, so this solution has been well tested, and further improvements have been made to the way the end links attach to the lower A-arms, along with the tube-shock conversion.
I installed a big brake kit at around the same time, vastly improving the way the car stops, then a new steering rack… then a big cross flow radiator…
