Welcome back to the garden! In this video, I'm getting real about some of my biggest rose disappointments. We all invest so much time, money, and space into our gardens, and sometimes a rose just doesn't live up to the hype.

Join me as I discuss 5 specific rose varieties that, despite their beautiful labels, simply didn't perform well for me here in my UK garden. From struggling with pests and diseases to slow growth and weak stems, these roses just didn't earn their spot. My goal is to help you make informed decisions for your own rose garden and avoid some of the frustrations I've experienced.

Claire Austin: My sickest rose, prone to bugs and quick shattering.
Ginger Sylabub (Harkness): A beautiful but frustratingly slow grower.
Passion for Ever (Martin Vissers): Another slow performer with unspecial blooms.
Great Expectations (Samuel Darragh): Struggled to establish and rarely bloomed.
My Darling (Pheno Geno Roses): Gorgeous blooms, but a poor growth habit with flopping stems.
