Some time ago I tried to make a better filter to filter out the gyro noise. Instead of using "standard" low pass filters, I tried to use the STM32 CMSIS DSP, and utilize FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) to cut out the gyro noise. It worked but turned out it was not the way to go. Here is a short explanation of how the FFT filter was supposed to work and why it failed.
