Exotic Caulerpa is a fast-spreading seaweed that can grow rapidly, smothering our sea beds. It affects fishing, boating, and cultural activities, making it a serious concern for everyone who enjoys the ocean.
We need to stop it spreading to new locations.
Together Auckland Council, MPI, Iwi and companies are coming up with new ideas, innovations and technologies to help control the spread of exotic Caulerpa.
