Today we enter the sacred season of Advent, a time of expectation, preparation, and hope as we look toward the coming of Christ. As the world rushes ahead, Advent invites us to slow down — to make room, to open our hearts, and to receive the living water that only Jesus provides.

Just as Jesus met the woman at the well and invited her to let go of what could never satisfy, today’s word reminds us that Advent is a call to release what drains us and embrace what fills us. When we let the bucket go, our burdens, our cycles, our empty places, we make room for the living water that never runs dry.

Let’s begin this Advent journey with open hands, open hearts, and expectation for what God will pour into us this season.
