Well, I've been Scratch building this model with plans as I'm not an aircraft designer. It's been a few years well maybe more than a few years as I've been working on this model on and off between other projects. I've had to learn to cut foam cores for my wing, make ducting and canopy hatch plug and fabrication. As well as cut all parts by hand after drawing them off of plans by Eugene Martin. The power system is from Bob Vincent a 650 KV motor, mounted in a Dynamax. Power management is Castle Creations HV 160 on 12s at 6400 mah. Flight control is Futaba 18sz.
Special thanks to Scott and Rodger for lending me their knowledge. I've learned a lot and I think the next Scratch build will go faster. Well, I hope so.
My son for being there many times to help during construction and also during the balancing stages. He also helped me get this video captured of the Maiden. My Dad for lending a hand when it was time to cut cores for the wing. That was a fan experience.
Well, I hope I'm able to do a few more builds. Thanks to Futaba and Castle Creations for their support all these years.
