Canon nfd 50mm f1.4 Upgrade housing_Mini CINE type

The housing in the YouTube video was shot in protocol type, and there were some minor design changes. Therefore, the video and the actual file shape may be slightly different.

I modeled it with the expectation of a small and lightweight housing suitable for handheld shooting. In the process, I was dissatisfied with the fact that the size of the small cinema type housing was small, so the lens with the housing attached looked like a miniature or toy lens. I tried to solve or alleviate this problem through the modeling and prototype output process. Nevertheless, it seems better to equip only a simple focus gear on the lightweight nFD lens. In other words, the nFD 50mm f1.4 lens is a vintage lens that focuses on weight reduction, and it is still questionable whether it is appropriate to upgrade a lens with a small and lightweight feature by attaching an additional housing.

The main design features of the nFD 50mm f1.4 upgrade housing are the circular front with a 67mm filter thread and the adoption of a vintage-style hood for easy replacement. The focus ring uses a 0.8M standard gear, and the front outer diameter is 69.5 mm, the focus gear part is approximately 82 mm. It is designed to allow you to check the focus distance information and aperture value of the lens, and the focus distance information and aperture information are additionally displayed on the housing so that they can be checked from the side. It is also designed to allow the installation of a lever for manual operation of the focus ring and aperture ring.
