In today’s Leeds United transfer news, we cover Manor Solomon, Facundo Buonanotte, and the latest on outgoings, midfield options, and loans.
César Luis Merlo is reporting that Leeds and West Ham lead the race for Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte. He’d be a brilliant fit for Farke — able to play both as a 10 and on the right, with excellent football IQ. At just 19, he managed 5 goals and 2 assists in 14 starts last season.
Manor Solomon has also been discussed on Waccoe, with positives (Farke link, strong past season, changed system) but big negatives too — Leeds don’t need another LW, and he struggles on the right.
Meanwhile, Schmidt is leaving for €3m — finally a sale — but Leeds need many more. Forest have raised €124m from sales and are now closing in on Dilane Bakwa for €35m, while Leeds still haven’t shifted enough.
Julian Weigl could be an option for €4–8m, possibly funded by selling Gruev. Uche is still on the radar despite his deal falling through, and Ramazani’s Valencia loan won’t include a buy option — positive news for protecting his value.
Plenty happening, but it feels like Leeds must sell smartly before they can strengthen properly.
