ALIEN 3 | THE LEGACY CUT | 4K BLU-RAY BOOTLEG REVIEW (AND A RANT ON WHY YOU SHOULD JUST DOWNLOAD IT)

Here’s an in depth look at a REGION FREE 4K / Blu-ray BOOTLEG edition of ALIEN 3 - THE LEGACY CUT. I purchased this physical copy from a store called "Showtown Apparel & More" but I won't be linking their website because I don't think you should buy this bootleg edition.

Instead, you can go to www.a34k.net to read more about the creation of the legacy cut fan edit and you can also download a digital copy for free through the link below.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: This video incorrectly states the Blu-ray disc as being region locked to A but it is in fact region free (!) (I guess I got confused on account of all the playback issues I was having on my first copy).

Further more the website where I bought this bootleg is supposedly using 25GB which wouldn’t fit the highest bitrate version of the legacy cut (!!!).

I’m no expert on picture quality (looks fine to me) but given that the original source file from A34K wouldn’t fit on a 25GB disc you should definitely consider downloading this for the best quality of the transfer (!).
