DJI Osmo 360 | Raw Footage 8K 50FPS

If your computer or device can handle it and you've got the bandwidth, set to the full 8K glory! Regardless, the fidelity should be better even if you can only do 4K.

I exported in 8K with the DJI Studio app. I then took that export and put into Final Cut Pro and created a 8K/50 FPS timeline. Upon doing some small edits and transitions, I exported it. Unfortunately, I had to download a 3rd party - 360 metadata tool since FCP did not embed the 360 information for YouTube. This was a process to say the least, but I feel like the end product is pretty great all things considered.

The DJI Mic 2 - 32 bit float file had the Low cut and Noise cancellation features embedded on the file. In hindsight, don't turn those on 😂. I don't normally, but just wanted to try it out and test. Hope this video helps you all consider purchasing a 360 camera! At least until the next iterations, DJI Osmo 360 seems to have the best fidelity!

Here are my settings:
DJI Osmo 360 / 8K/50FPS
1/200-1/8000 Shutter Speed, Auto Iso 100-800
WB-5500K, D-Log M, DJI Lut Applied
-2 Texture, -1 Sharpness
DJI Mic 2 - Low Cut Filter On, Noise Cancelation On
*Using the 32 Bit Float Recording Directly from Mic 2
