What to do after M.Sc. Zoology

Zoology is a pure science stream which has abundant options post M.Sc. degree.

In a broader perspective, the M.Sc. students has two options, either to go in research or to go for academics/teaching. There is also a possibility in joining some pharmaceutical company for the job of animal handling, quality control and animal-related jobs.

If you are really serious about the teaching, I would say you must clear CSIR NET in order to become Professor at any college in India. But, if you want to teach in schools, my advice would be to get the B.Ed. degree and apply in schools and you shall get job as a Biology teacher in 11th and 12th standards.
