Today I'm going to chat about the drivers behind an animated video's cost
and there are three of them I'd like to speak about today. The first is
length. So animators will typically price their services by how long the
animation is, so 60 seconds will be more expensive than 30 seconds.

The second is the complexity of the illustrations. Sometimes animators will
use stock characters that they get from past projects or on different
websites. Sometimes they might actually custom hand-draw all the
characters. So the more detailed and the more awesome your illustrations
are, the more expensive your animation.

And lastly is the style. I'm sure you've seen some animations that are
cartoon-like and sometimes you might see stuff that's more like a virtual
animation, with the realistic people in it. In general, the more realistic
your animation is the more expensive. And just to show you this we've
included a few links below of different animations at different price
points just to show you these variables at work.
