This is a prayer specially dedicated to His Holiness Kyabje Dungsey Thinle Norbu Rinpoche.
Kyabje Dungsey Thinle Norbu Rinpoche (1931 - 2011) was an important teacher in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. He was the eldest son of Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and the father of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche, Kyabje Dungsey Garab Rinpoche and Dungsey Jampel Rinpoche. Rinpoche was held to be the incarnation of Trulku Drime Oser, one of the sons of Dudjom Lingpa. Rinpoche was also considered to be an emanation of Longchen Rabjam, the 14h century Nyingma scholar who composed the Seven Treasuries.
Rinpoche's Yangsey (reincarnate) is Dungsey Gyana Ta Rinpoche.
