Scenes of flooding of the River Aire on the land close to Swillington Bridge at Woodlesford between the river and the canal. The river has flooded into the Aire and Calder Navigation to the east of Woodlesford lock and stretches of the canal towpath are under water. Flood defences on the northern side of the canal installed in the last couple of years have not been breached. Horses kept in the the field with the flooded car were moved to higher ground on Saturday evening.
