The "Nano" sockets are a great addition to your toolbox because they are low profile for use on a regular 3/8" ratchet but also have a 17mm hex shank/flank drive that creates a very low profile with any 17mm wrench. There are also sets available in 1/2" drive which have a 22mm hex shank/flank drive. Don't forget that the Pittsburgh Go-Thru ratchet and socket set from Harbor Freight also includes sockets with a hex shank drive, which are 19mm (they are not as stubby as the Nano sockets).
