Rarely seen early 1972 version:: Cher's take on Duke Ellington's 1941 standard, "I Got It Bad (and That Ain't Good) from the January 24, 1972 episode of "The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour." Cher performed this again on the Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour in season 3 and recorded it for her 1973 MCA release, "Bittersweet White Light." Vocals are a bit more controlled and restrained on this version than the LP release. Apologies for the flutter on the video--taken from a video tape of the show when it was syndicated in late 1981/early 1982.
