Trains at Edinburgh Waverley - 15/09/2025

Filmed on 15/09/2025. So, it has been a good long time hasn't it? Firstly, would like to apologize for the long overdue wait for the content. This is due to my external hard drive which broke and sadly had lost of the data on it. Since then, bought another hard drive and pleased to say we are now back in business.

Let's get on track as we begin for a week holiday special to Scotland and which better city to start than Edinburgh Waverley (Season 12 Episode 22)

Only filmed on just the one side but nevertheless, ScotRail always provides the action. But, one of their key fleets are on borrowed time as the ScotRail InterCity7 HST sets are due to be withdrawn from services. Their replacement? It's unknown for the moment but they're performing strongly for InterCity 7 sets.

For Transpennine Express, it seems there is a often occurrence. The Nova 1's are being fully utilized now on various routes throughout the Transpennine network. It seems the Nova 1's are working fully on the Manchester to Edinburgh and the Nova 2's are fully used on the Glasgow Central to Manchester Airport diagrams.
