The obligatory patches for MH patches, Manhunt Fixer and Pak Patch.
0:00 - 0:33 Import a skin from the Gangs Pack to use as a template.
0:33 - 1:06 Adjust the position, rotation and size of your model to match the MH model.
1:06 - 2:15 Hide the MH model and use vertex to match the model with the yellow bones.
2:15 - 2:20 Leave all the vertex blue de-selecting them.
2:20 - 2:25 Unhide the MH model.
2:25 - 2:35 Select the MH model and select the vertex.
2:35 - 2:46 Select all blue vertex to make them red.
2:46 - 2:50 Click attach and click your custom model.
2:50 - 2:56 Click OK and press Supr or the key you use to delete in 3Ds Max.
2:56 - 2:59 Only your model should be visible now, click attach to stop attaching.
2:59 - 3:13 Test the bones (CTRL + Z key to undo changes in position of the bones)
3:13 - 3:23 In case of deformations in the model, click skin, vertices and adjust the bones.
3:23 - 7:06 I recommend watching a weight paint tutorial, you basically assign which part of the mesh are moved by the bones (1,0 is full movement, 0,5 is medium movement, and 0 is no movement).
7:06 - 7:25 Export it by clicking "SA" and "Bones/Skin Export".
7:25 - 7:43 Export it in the desktop and name it whatever you want.
7:43 - 8:13 Copy the .INI and .txd files of the MH model you used to make the skin into the desktop.
8:13 - 8:33 Create a folder, name it whatever you want and paste the 3 files in it.
8:33 - 8:41 Rename the 2 files to have the same name as your skin.
8:41 8:59 Open the .txd file, add the textures of your model and delete the other ones.
8:59 - 9:16 Modify the texture if you want and save.
9:16 - 9:33 Open the .INI file, and input your skin's name in "Name"
9:33 - 10:03 Input your skin's folder name next to the directory, and the names of the .dff and .txd files.
10:03 - 10:16 Save and leave the last two sections in false, otherwise the game will crash.
10:16 - 10:30 Copy the skin's folder into "Manhunt/data/skins/"
10:30 - 12:02 Trying it in-game.
