Parmajawn, a Denver native, has been producing and playing live music for more than half of his life, beginning his career playing rooms like Denver’s Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom at the young age of 14. Over the last decade and change, he has continued to cut his teeth and earn his stripes in the music industry, while also earning a degree and working full time as an audio engineer.

His expansive library — primarily self released, engineered, and distributed — has amassed nods of support from international radio shows including multiple features on Jamie Jones’ Hot Robot Radio and plays from BBC Radio 6 in the morning. Parm has shared the stage amongst industry heavyweights such as Kerri Chandler and Chris Lake, and has performed in iconic rooms on both coasts, including Mission Ballroom, the Russel Industrial Center, and Sound Nightclub.

Since his roots, Parm has stayed true to the sound he’s been building from the start: funky dubby rhythms, warm basslines, and carefully chaotic polyphony. Though he is a lover of all music, the things that excite him the most are sounds that he’s never heard before - and he aims to translate that in his live shows and productions.
