I'm testing two strings here in my Babolat Pure Aero 98:
Solinco Hyper-G 16L (1.25mm)
Solinco Tour Bite 17 (1.20mm, supposed to be 1.23mm according to TW)
Highlights:
0:00 --- Myrko in Front
0:28 & 2:31 & 4:00 Nice backhand
5:42 Drop Shot Sweetness
6:26 Bastis Backhand
6:43 Nice Rally with lob winner
7:19 Good rally
8:16 Hammering to the forehand side
10:48 Nice backhand
15:04 --- Bastian in Front (Playing Yonex Regna 98 /w Tru Pro Pure Rush)
18:59 --- Myrko in Front
Hyper-G 16L vs. Tour Bite 17 in PA98:
TB17 is not as stiff as the (original) TB16L (1.25). But the 1.20-1.23mm make the racket slightly lighter especially the swing-weight. So there is a bit less plow from the baseline. Will on the net it gives me even more maneuverability.
I still prefer Hyper-G 16L for now. Maybe I test TB16L, but I guess its too stiff in my PA98.
Other then these two I also like
Solinco Mach 10
Totoline O-Toro
in the Pure Aero 98 and will choose my main string out of the 3.
