Artificial intelligence is changing the world, and the medical field will be no different, said experts. New technology such as AI can help to tackle the challenges of clinical trials by reducing the costs, identifying the patients who may benefit from a new drug, and shortening the timeline for drug approval, Professor Chng Wee Joo, senior principal investigator of the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore at the National University of Singapore, tells CNA’s Asia Now.
