Snowmobile Crash - Snowmobile lands on top me me.

Well... I Pizza'd when I should have french fry'd snowmobile style. As we were riding out to a zone to go snow kiting I came up on this wind lip above the road. The day before I had hit a windlip onto a road to discover only about 4" of snow on pavement. When I saw this drop I knew I needed to land in the apron where the wind had loaded snow. Meaning I had to go slow in order to not land on the road. I should have either punched it as I left the lip or just gone around. Because I did not throttle properly the nose of the snowmobile to dipped and sent us both head over heels. The sled then proceeded to land directly on top of me folding me in half. I immediately experienced intense back pain not knowing how bad it was I cried for help pinned under the sled not sure if I could free myself. Eventually I calmed down and thankfully my group had stopped and watched the whole thing and quickly came to my aid. I sprained my low back and pulled my glute and hamstring. We were on a project shooting snowkiting for Skydio which is what was filming me. Pretty impressive autonomous drone. Anyways I am lucky and VERY thankful to have been able to kite the rest of the day and even more so walk away! Moral of the story... If you Pizza when you're supposed to french fry you're going to have a bad time... Also, It's ok to just go around...
