I was thinking about taking the GoPro with Karma stabilization and putting it in harness on Liam's chest - but that could endanger his climbing as he will be close to the fake rock wall - and camera as small as it is - presents the bulky object that could interfere with his climbing harness and safety line.

There was a q about Battery from GoPro12 (mine) to work with GoPro12 (Liam's) - I thought they would be the same but of course the answer is NO - so what's new?
From the internet: No, the GoPro 13 battery is not the same as the GoPro 12 battery because the GoPro 13 uses a new, incompatible battery design. The Hero 13's battery has a slightly larger capacity of 1900mAh compared to the Hero 12's 1720mAh battery and a redesigned connector, making older GoPro batteries unusable in the new camera.
