民國67年3月11、12日起，中華民國第6任總統、副總統候選人提名作業，由國民大會代表開始連署。中國國民黨提名蔣經國為總統候選人，謝東閔為副總統候選人，獲得絕大多數的國大代表支持。總統提名連署書截至3月16日止全部收回，支持蔣經國為第6任總統候選人的國大代表多達1,196人。

3月18日，國民大會秘書處正式公告蔣經國為中華民國第6任總統候選人，公告名單在陽明山中山樓和台北市中山堂大門前張貼。3月19日，公告副總統候選人謝東閔獲得1,045位國大代表連署提名。

The Republic of China Elects 6th President & Vice President

On March 11 and 12, 1978, the nomination process for the 6th President and Vice President of the Republic of China began with the collection of signatures by the representatives of the National Assembly. The Kuomintang (KMT) nominated Chiang Ching-kuo as the presidential candidate and Hsieh Tung-min as the vice-presidential candidate, receiving overwhelming support from the National Assembly representatives. By March 16, all nomination forms were collected, with 1,196 National Assembly representatives endorsing Chiang Ching-kuo as the presidential candidate.

On March 18, the Secretariat of the National Assembly officially announced Chiang Ching-kuo as the candidate for the 6th President of the Republic of China. The announcement was posted at Zhongshan Building in Yangmingshan and the entrance of Zhongshan Hall in Taipei. On March 19, Hsieh Tung-min was officially announced as the vice-presidential candidate, having been endorsed by 1,045 National Assembly representatives.

1978年3月11日と12日、中華民国第6代大統領、副大統領候補者の指名手続きが国民大会代表による署名収集から始まりました。中国国民党は、蒋経国を大統領候補に、謝東閔を副大統領候補に指名し、国民大会代表の圧倒的な支持を得ました。3月16日までにすべての指名書が回収され、蒋経国を第6代大統領候補として支持する国民大会代表は1,196人に上りました。

3月18日、国民大会事務局は蒋経国を中華民国第6代大統領候補として正式に発表し、発表リストは陽明山の中山楼と台北市の中山堂の入り口に掲示されました。3月19日、謝東閔が副大統領候補として1,045人の国民大会代表の署名を得たことが正式に発表されました。


중화민국 제6대 대통령 및 부통령 선거

1978년 3월 11일과 12일, 중화민국 제6대 대통령 및 부통령 후보자 지명 절차가 국민대회 대표의 서명 수집으로 시작되었습니다. 중국 국민당은 장징궈를 대통령 후보로, 셰둥민을 부통령 후보로 지명했으며, 국민대회 대표들의 압도적인 지지를 받았습니다. 3월 16일까지 모든 지명서가 회수되었으며, 장징궈를 제6대 대통령 후보로 지지하는 국민대회 대표는 총 1,196명이었습니다.

3월 18일, 국민대회 사무처는 장징궈를 중화민국 제6대 대통령 후보로 공식 발표했으며, 발표 명단은 양명산 중산루와 타이베이시 중산당 입구에 게시되었습니다. 3월 19일, 셰둥민이 부통령 후보로서 1,045명의 국민대회 대표 서명을 받았다고 공식 발표되었습니다.
