This fun purse is so quick and simple to make, although it looks quite complicated! Make it in any size you like, with long or short handles. The magnetic snap fastening is optional.
The fabric I used is Full Moon by Dashwood Studios and Tangerine from the Essential Plain pack from www.debbieshoresewing.com
Materials:
2 pieces of outer fabric each measuring 15” x 10” [38cm x 25cm]
2 pieces of lining fabric each measuring 15” x 10.5” [38cm x 27cm]
2 pieces of interfacing [I used Vileselene G700] each measuring 15” x 10” [38cm x 25cm]
2 pieces of outer fabric for the straps each measuring 4” x 22” [10cm x 56cm]
2 pieces of interfacing each measuring 4” x 22” [10cm x 56cm]
4 pieces of lining fabric for the faux tie each measuring 2.5” x 16” 6cm x 40cm]
2 self-covering buttons plus 2 pieces of outer fabric to cover
Magnetic snap
Wet fabric glue [Gutermann HT2]
