Like War of the Titans R.E., I am re-recording and re-editing every aspect of this story. However, the only difference is that there are going to be extra scenes that did not make it into the original. Hence the 'R', and why it is going to be extended.

Setting:
A Certain Ultimate Giant Monster War is a fan-made, spin-off, crossover story between Godzilla, Bagan, and the characters of the Toaru series (or Raildex depending on the person). It takes place after the events of New Testament and the Christmas Event in many locations, mainly Academy City, a sovereign city-state, Japan and Europe.

Synopsis (Part 1: The Dragons of East and West 第一部: 東と西の龍):
As 2004 becomes 2005, Mikoto Misaka travels to Okinawa with her parents, to visit the grandparents. But during a storm, Akira and Chidori, her grandparents, are killed by a monster she thought would never exist in her world, to which it would be discovered to be a kaiju named Godzilla. Meanwhile back in Academy City, Touma Kamijou and Index are dragged into the Second Irish Civil War and the reawakening God of the Celtic Republic of Ireland, Bagan.

Synopsis (Part 2: War of the Monsters 第二部: 怪獣大決戦):
With one monster on the magic and science sides, the two are on a collision course that culminates in the Battle of Academy City. Along the way, shocking new revelations are revealed in regards to the two monsters, Godzilla and Bagan.
