India’s Organic Mission 2025 | PKVY Complete Report | Farmers Empowerment & Green Revolution 2.0

🌿 Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) — launched in 2015 — is India’s flagship mission to promote organic farming, empower farmers, and restore soil health. Over the past decade, the scheme has helped millions of farmers switch to chemical-free agriculture and access premium markets for organic produce.

🔹 Key Highlights (2015–2025):
₹2,265.86 crore released under PKVY so far.
₹205.46 crore released in FY 2024–25 under RKVY.
15 lakh hectares under organic farming across India.
52,289 clusters formed; 25.3 lakh farmers benefitted.
6.23 lakh farmers, 19,016 local groups, 89 suppliers & 8,676 buyers registered on Jaivik Kheti Portal.
Sikkim becomes 100% organic state under Large Area Certification (LAC).

🔹 Financial Support under PKVY (₹31,500 per ha for 3 years):
₹15,000 for on-farm & off-farm organic inputs (DBT)
₹4,500 for marketing, packaging & branding
₹3,000 for certification & residue analysis
₹9,000 for training & capacity building

🔹 Certification Framework:
PGS-India for domestic organic verification.
NPOP for international certification and export facilitation.
LAC (Large Area Certification) for chemical-free regions and faster approvals.

🔹 Achievements:
From Dantewada to Nicobar, from Lakshadweep to Ladakh — PKVY has created India’s largest network of organic farmers. With digital platforms like Jaivik Kheti, and FPO-based marketing support, the scheme is empowering rural India while protecting the planet.
