OFIP Chair Peter Larson interviews US Jewish intellectual/commentator Peter Beinart about the South African submission to the International Court of Justice alleging Israeli genocide. Beinart has an intimate understanding of South Africa. His family is from South Africa and he visited the country under the apartheid regime many time.
Since the interview occurred during the same week that many US campuses experienced a strong student protest over university complicity with Israel during the Gaza genocide, we also discussed his view on the significance of those protests.
