WestJet Pilots held an informational picket on May 8th, 2023 at the Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto airports. More than 750 pilots turned out to support WestJet pilots in their fight for a new contract.
This video was recorded in Calgary and simulcast to the other picket locations. It includes speeches from WJA P2P Chair Desmond Jordan, WJA Strike Committee Chair Christina Thomson, WJA MEC Chair Bernard Lewall, ALPA National President Jason Ambrosi, Air Canada Pilots Association Chair Charlene Hudy, WEN MEC Chair Ashley Sweet, ALPA National SPSC Member David Campbell.
