Hello and welcome to BOAB Models - today we'll build the Lotus 25 Coventry Climax in 1/20 from Tamiya. This legendary car was used from 1962-65 in the Formula 1 World Championship and was the first car to use the innovative monocoque design from Colin Chapman.
Jim Clark won 14 races using this car and the 1963 F1 World Championship and Lotus the Constructors' title. The car used a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated Coventry Climax V8. It also helped Lotus and Clark win the 1965 titles although it had mainly been replaced by the Lotus 33 by this time.
