In this video, I explain all 17 WCA events in 12 minutes, the WCA stands for World Cube Association and is the official governing body of speedcubing competitions, official WCA events take place regularly at competitions and are recorded on the WCA database. While it is called the World Cube Association, not all the events are actually cubes but they are all puzzles with at least some similarity. There are cube puzzles from 2x2-7x7, as well as skewb which turns differently but is still a cube, pyraminx, megaminx and square-1 are other shaped twisty puzzles and then clock is very different. Other events include restrictions on other puzzles such as 3x3 with one hand, 3x3 blindfolded, 4x4 blindfolded, 5x5 blindfolded, and even 3x3 multiblind. The final event is 3x3 fewest moves where you have one hour to find the shortest solution you can to a particular scramble.
