BAD NEWS For 2025 Honda Pilot REVEALED!

Honda has no plans to update the family-sized crossover in the near future. After all, the fourth generation was released for the 2023 model year back in November of 2022. Identical in appearance to the more luxurious and expensive Acura MDX, the three-row crossover is nonetheless a handsome car.

One might even say that it it's bland. That being said, did you anticipate Lamborghini Urus or Bentley Bentayga style elements from a mass-market automaker's front-biased sport utility vehicle? Being boring is totally acceptable for the Pilot, especially when you keep in mind that it's a car with three rows rather than a supercar or sports car.

In relation to that, the Japanese company has none of that kind. Sporty cars only refer to the Civic Type R and Civic Si. As of October 2023, Honda no longer sells any supercars or sports cars in the US due to the NSX's discontinuation following the 2022 model year. In the grand scheme of things, why would it? In the United States of America, trucks and SUVs are the most popular vehicles and also the most profitable.

From a financial perspective, a low-volume supercar such as the NSX is just not practical. As a direct competitor to the likes of the Toyobaru and the MX-5, a second generation of the S2000 would be significantly more practical.

Returning to our topic of interest, how many sport utility vehicles does Honda sell in the US? Starting with the $24,100 HR-V, there are four options. The list also includes the $37,090 Pilot, $41,100 Passport, and $29,500 CR-V. The CR-V is without a doubt Honda's best-selling model in the US.

American Honda supplied no fewer than 262,351 examples of the breed between January and September of 2023. The Pilot sold exactly 82,397 units, but the HR-V finished in a distant second place with 87,034 deliveries.

And while we wait for more information about the 2025 Honda Pilot, let’s check for now the pros and cons of having the 2024 Honda Pilot.

To be honest, the 2024 Honda Pilot looks best when it is dressed up. It would be wise, however, to claim any 2024 Pilot as your own. Its spacious room, smart storage, and all-around well-roundedness make it one of the best three-row crossover SUV options, along with the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade. It looks so much nicer than its faceless blob of a predecessor, and it just checks so many boxes.

The Pilot's distinctive second-row seat layout is arguably what sets it apart the most. The captain's chairs and pass-through can be left behind when the center seat is taken out and tucked into the underfloor storage space below the third row. Although the TrailSport's full-size all-terrain spare reduces the storage capacity sufficiently to make the feature unfeasible, there is no need to choose between seven and eight passengers in the seating arrangement. We believe that the Pilot's well-rounded greatness will make it an overall better choice for more individuals, even though some of its competitors may be luxurious, powerful, or thrilling to drive. This is just one of the many ingenious features that distinguish the Pilot.

Honda Pilot's Interior and in-car technology

If you have tried a Hyundai Palisade, the Pilot can appear quite uninteresting. No flashy trim or amusing lighting is present. But, its clean horizontal lines and minimal accents have an air of elegance. It reminds us of the simple, classic, and functional Land Rover interiors. Likewise it is far superior to what was present in the previous Pilot (and what is still present in the Passport).

Eventually, the Pilot interior is all about well-thought-out design and ingenious packaging.
