Fly with me to airport cafes around SoCal while I build time towards my instrument rating in the Lunch Adventure Series.
Welcome back to my Lunch Adventure series! Today we go back to Hemet, again, after the last flight was incomplete due to an alternator issue. Although we still didn’t make it to the cafe since we are actually on our *lunch break*. Fly along with me and my coworker, Lauren, to do a touch and go at Hemet + scenic flight for her first time in a non-commercial airplane. At this point I’m around 33ish/50 hours of x-country PIC time towards my instrument requirement. This month (July 2024) I have also started working on my 10 hours BATD (basic aviation training device) flying instrument approaches with my instructor. I hope you enjoy the flight and will join me as I start to learn instrument flying!
