Rheinland Pfalz State Youth Orchestra (Germany) Performs in South Africa and Botswana

The Rheinland-Pfalz State Youth Orchestra – one of the best ensembles of its kind in Germany – will be performing in South Africa and Botswana!

Their programme will include "Ingoma" by South African composer Hendrik Hofmeyr, Sergei Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Ludwig von Beethoven's 3rd Symphony, the Eroica. The ensemble will be conducted by South African-born Albert Horne, with Megan-Geoffrey Prins (Piano) as the soloist.

Concerts will be in Linder Auditorium Johannesburg (Oct 2, 19h30), Brooklyn Theatre Pretoria (Oct 3, 19h00), Maitisong Theatre Gaborone (Oct 6, 19h00), City Hall Cape Town (Oct 11, 20h00) and Endler Hall Stellenbosch (Oct 12, 20h00).
