Dhaba type snack restaurant in this Chembur Food Tour, famous for its sindhi and punjabi food, typically made in a village style. Every morning you'll find people eating the most well known dish called 'Dal Pakwan' . I would ask every mumbaikar to taste this dish. The authenticity of this dish is unique at Vig. The hard & crispy puri along with 2-3 varieties of dal mixed together and a little pickle dropped over the hot-steaming dal along with a glass full of chilled Chaas with chaat masala sprinkled on top is what makes a perfect breakfast at Vig. VIG refreshments located in Chembur camp is a iconic breakfast place for generations. Best items to have are the classic Dal Pakwan that they make exactly the same way they have down for years. It's the best dal pakwan I have eaten till date. Dal was absolutely bang on in flavours severed with crispy layered pakwan. The pakwan is crunchy, dal is mixed with spices, aloo sabji and chutneys. Chole Batura is next best top seller. Big bloating Bhatura with soft Chana that is simple yet delicious. Chhoti puri, ragda pattice, samosa are other favorites. Not to miss the Chur Chur Paratha. Finish with a sweet Lassi with malai (heavy cream) floating on top. With the breakfast you can skip all meals for the rest of the day.It was worth coming all the way to eat here! Even though it is a small place, it was packed! The staff was courteous!
