In this lecture, we will study the Law of Successive stages propounded by Auguste Comte in his book The Course on Positive Philosophy. Auguste Comte argued that evolution of society has taken place from Religious Stage to Metaphysical stage to Positivist Or scientific stage. He also talked about Hierarchy of Sciences and the religion of humanity in his works. We will also talk about the Biography of Auguste Comte briefly.
