This video is a 19-song medley made by yours truly in Super Mario Paint v.1.4.2. This time, every song is tied together with one common chord progression, that being the "VI VII i" progression. This Aeolian mode chord progression is also known as the "Running Up That Hill" progression due to its use in the iconic Kate Bush song. It likely also holds that name due to its ascending chord pattern creating the sensation of an upward movement, akin to climbing a hill.
This was made using Cyan's Gen V Pokemon soundfont, with some volume-based enhancements as per usual. The key is D natural minor and the BPM is 120. I hope you enjoy.
