Dads Survey 2025: Full Presentation & Expert Insights | DADx Talk

Are dads sharing parenting responsibilities more equally? Are they managing work-life balance better? And have rates of poor mental health improved? To find out, we reached out to dads across Scotland between 1-30 June 2025.

This year, 440 fathers from across Scotland have shared their experiences, offering a unique window into modern fatherhood - from home life and work, to relationships and mental health. Their voices reveal the challenges, realities, and everyday norms that shape being a dad today.

During this report launch, we shared these insights and were joined by an expert panel from a range of backgrounds, who offered their perspectives, helped make sense of the findings, and explored what they might mean for dads, families, and communities across Scotland.

Our expert panel included:
