A lot of people get these because they are dirt cheap. I do admit that was the reason I bought it. I wanted to buy this, do some DIY work on it, fine tuning, and make it a great shooter, not just something to complain about. Another reason I wanted it... I didn't own a center-fire revolver, only a .22lr and a black powder. I did in the past but not now. I teach friends how to shoot frequently and I wanted to have a re volver in my toolbox to be able to show some newcomers some options. a snub-nose .38 Special is a very capable self defense option.
