Mercedes-Benz C350e - Powerful Plug-in Hybrid at RM335k | YS Khong Driving

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has unveiled the C350e, a new plug-in hybrid variant assembled locally (CKD) in Pekan, Pahang. Priced at approximately RM355,000 on-the-road without insurance, this model combines efficiency and performance seamlessly.

Under its hood lies a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol engine, delivering 204 PS (201 hp or 150 kW) at 6,100 rpm and 320 Nm of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm. This powertrain is complemented by an electric motor integrated into the nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, contributing 129 PS (127 hp or 95 kW) and 440 Nm of torque to the rear wheels.

The combined output of 313 PS (308 hp or 230 kW) and 550 Nm enables impressive performance figures, including a top speed of 245 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 6.1 seconds. In electric mode, it can reach speeds of up to 140 km/h, with an all-electric range of up to 117 km according to the WLTP standard. The lithium-ion battery, boasting a capacity of 25.4 kWh, is covered by a six-year/100,000-km warranty in addition to the standard four-year manufacturer warranty.

Charging the C350e is convenient with support for AC charging at a maximum capacity of 11 kW, achieving a full charge in two hours when connected to a compatible charger.

The C350e comes generously equipped with features such as Digital Light LED headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch AMG five-spoke alloy wheels, Thermatic dual-zone climate control with rear vents, a Nappa leather sports steering wheel, Artico man-made leather upholstery, and ambient lighting. Safety is prioritized with Pre-Safe, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, and a comprehensive Parking package including a reverse camera and Active Parking Assist.

Infotainment is managed through the Mercedes-Benz User Experience, featuring an 11.9-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster display. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported.
