Forgiveness Prayer: (Shared by Pastor Judy Salinas)

God of all comfort, whose steadfast love never ceases, thank You for sending Jesus who bore my griefs and carried my sorrows and pains in order that every area of my soul – my mind, will and emotions be restored to wholeness.


In the name of Jesus, I claim healing and restoration of every broken, hidden part of my soul where it has been trapped in another time and/or place because of past trauma.


I forgive the sins of whoever first opened the door to the iniquity back in my family line. I forgive them for the effects the iniquity has had on me and release myself from every generational bondage.


I ask your forgiveness, Lord Jesus, for where I have allowed my woundedness to negatively affect others. I release to you all the effects of feeling worthless, abandoned, rejected, betrayed, disappointed, insecure, confused and afraid and
in your Name, Jesus, I disconnect every power of darkness that has gained access for the purpose of keeping me locked in trauma and preventing me from fulfilling my God given destiny.


I choose to forgive and release myself from the pain and guilt of past events. I choose to forgive and release the person or persons who have traumatized me. I hand them over to You, the righteous judge, and will no longer judge or blame
them for their actions or words spoke against me. (Allow the trapped part of you that has been traumatized to come forth, to be heard and forgive the person/persons).


Thank you, Jesus that you have promised to heal broken/trapped hearts! Please heal and restore my traumatized central nervous system and bring any neurological imbalances into divine order. In Your Name and by the power of the

Holy Spirit, I cut off and defuse the neurological link between the memories of the trauma and the emotional reactions of the event. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving to me new neurological pathways of love, peace, acceptance and safety.

Thank you, Jesus that you have also promised to set the captives free. I renounce vows (be specific) and the lies that I have believed (be specific) and declare that I am forgiven, unconditionally loved and accepted by you. Please send your ministering angels to break the chains, pull down the protective walls that I have put up, bring me out of this entrapment and make me whole.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for giving me a sound mind and setting me free. For bathing my entire body with your healing oil and filling every area where the trauma has left with Yourself. I am now healed and made whole!


In Jesus wonderful Name I ask it. Amen
