Tholl Gates (Scottish grade VI 6 or European WI5 with awful protection) is quite possible the best ice climb in scotland, steep and sustained with both ice climbing and mixed climbing on rock and frozen turf.
Fuar Tholl, in the northwestern Scottish Highlands, is a remote crag that gets very little attention, partially as the routes are mostly very tough, with Tholl Gates being one of the easiest. It is a dangerous climb, not to be underestimated, but superb nontheless.
