First off I just want to say thanks to the few people who helped me out while I was completely stressed the day this was filmed. I would say names but I don't know if they want to be mentioned but they'll know who they are if they ever see this. The lad who cut the silage and lent me his 8210 and wrapper when I was very stuck. The guy who came with his 8210 to hook my wrapper on and ended up driving this other 8210 😅. The guy drawing in the bales who went and cut silage on our own farm the next day while I was gone on a plane, much appreciated. And to my absolute hero of a girlfriend who came and brought me net to keep the whole operation going when I could not collect it myself because my wrapper decided to throw a fit and I got delayed. She also took the photos and videos so big thanks to her for that too. And thanks to the farmer too for allowing us to do the work and post the pictures afterwards 😁👍
My last silage job of 2025. Didn't think it was going to go ahead due to all the rain we had so I put my mower away. That was a mistake. Got this 8210's owner (also the previous owner to my 7810 actually) to cut everything to save me washing and oiling my mower again for a second time. Then it came to wrapping it and my Tanco 1400eh wrapper I bought this year decided to not work. It unplugged a plug down on the machine so it was a simple problem but I didn't have time to look for the problem that day so I called the same guy who cut it to borrow his tractor and wrapper just to keep me going. My wrapper was fixed that evening and wrapped the bales I made earlier in the day with another friend's 8210, the one that has been in my videos here and there before. The farmer drew in these bales in the video but the ones I made earlier in the day I had to move. So it was 4am by the time I finished but it had to be done as I had to get on a plane the next day.
But that's it. Unfortunately my TM165 broke the gearbox this year. It went completely bang whatever went wrong with it and I was going to fix it but to be honest I was having such bad luck with that tractor I just decided to sell it as is. A local guy bought it. And I also sold my big Same Galaxy. I will genuinely miss that one, I put a lot of work into that and really enjoyed driving it. However I have videos taken of me explaining my situation at the moment describing that I'm changing careers now and 2025 will be my last season out on hire full time at agri work. I will upload those when I get time but the man who bought my Galaxy had a TW15 to trade in and I still needed a 150hp+ tractor to drive the JF1100 with, so I decided to chance the TW. It needs a lot of oil leaks fixed and a pto brake among other things, but it has the basis for being a good tractor for the job I want it for. Once I have it mechanically ok, I will be putting a bigger turbo on it and things like that to try and get the power up to where I need it. Aiming for 170hp+. My 7810 is still here too but still dismantled awaiting restoration. So I just have the 2 Fords now, and that's fine, I quite like Fords. For all the tractor work I'll be doing anymore they will be enough.
