[4K HDR] Exploring Gangwon Province 2021 Drive and Walk in Sangdomun Village in Sokcho City Korea

This is the 3rd video out of a total of 6 videos I filmed in Gangwon-do for 6 days from April 5th. Today, we are going to drive on the road to Mt. Seorak in Sokcho, Gangwon Province today. This road is full of beautiful cherry blossom trees, and it is the most recommended place for a morning drive. You can see the high Seoraksan Mountain in front of you in the video. Let's walk around Sangdo Moon Stonewall Village after driving. You can find beautiful alleys and pretty things in stone wall alleys.

Seoraksan is the highest mountain in the Taebaek mountain range in the Gangwon Province in eastern South Korea. It is located in a national park near the city of Sokcho. After the Hallasan volcano on Jeju Island and Jirisan in the south, Seoraksan is the third highest mountain in South Korea. The Daechongbong Peak (대청봉) of Seoraksan reaches 1,708 meters (5,603 feet). The mountain is sometimes considered the backbone of South Korea.

Hakmujeong Pavilion is built in the pine forest on the shore of the Ssangcheon Stream coming down from the Daecheongbong Peak of Seoraksan Mountain, by Mr. Oh Yunhwan in the 9th year of reign by King Gojong (1934). The pavilion has hexagonal roof, and was nicknamed as the Yukmojeong pavilion, or the hexagonal pavilion, and creates quiet atmosphere of traditional houses in the thick pine forest.
