Quite underrated as a composer, I'm a huge fan of this set, and the first is an especially lush and impressionist opener. Challenging voice control, and some tricky octave passages make this one ARSM level.
Grade: ARSM
I record on a Yamaha P515, with some reverb added in post from the THX spacial creator plugin. This one is in Bosendorfer mode, which has a somewhat dull low-mid-range, but a very sparkling and pleasant treble.
