MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Aug. 1, 2016) Marines load a GBU-54 laser joint direct attack munition bomb to an AV-8B Harrier on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) as it is prepared to conduct strike missions against ISIL targets in Sirte, Libya. Wasp is deployed with the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
